Advertise where your audience is: creator marketing with less waste

Why the right audience matters more than maximum reach and how to select social, discovery and creator networks by user intent.

Strong creator marketing does not start with โ€œWhere can I buy the most impressions?โ€ It starts with โ€œWhere is my relevant audience?โ€ A smaller high-intent audience can be more valuable than broad untargeted reach.

User intent changes the value

On social media, users often encounter content by chance. On a creator discovery site, they are actively looking for profiles, categories or platforms. Both channels are useful but play different roles.

Think in funnels

Social creates attention, discovery helps users compare options, and the creator profile must convert that interest. Treat those steps as one journey.

Define the audience precisely

Consider language, country, niche, price point, content style and platform. Relevant local touchpoints can outperform generic global reach.

Evaluate advertising context

For each channel ask who is there, what they want in that moment and how close they are to choosing a profile.

Practical rule

Use broad channels for attention and specialist creator environments for users with stronger discovery intent.
